The mid-year edition of PSE STAR: Investor Day will see the participation of 14 publicly listed companies in a live briefing scheduled from August 14 to 16, 2024. As in previous runs, the virtual event will showcase executives and investor relations officers of PLCs who will discuss their financial performance during the first six months of the year, short to mid-term strategies and other corporate developments.
“The return to a three-day schedule speaks of the keen interest of stakeholders involved in this program. PLCs want to share company updates to a wider audience so they join PSE STAR. Fund managers, equities analysts and investors, on the other hand, get the latest information and appreciate that they can ask questions directly to the heads of the companies,” PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon said.
PLCs that will give live briefings are ACEN CORPORATION, AREIT, Inc., BDO Unibank, Inc., Cebu Landmasters, Inc., D.M. Wenceslao & Associates, Incorporated, East West Banking Corporation, Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc., GT Capital Holdings, Inc., MacroAsia Corporation, Megawide Construction Corporation, Philippine Business Bank, PLDT Inc., and Semirara Mining and Power Corporation.
The PSE STAR portal provides investors additional information on companies through SPOTLIGHT and FEATURED BRIEFINGS. The former is a write up on each of the PLCs with a description of their business, information on their stock performance and their answers to sector and company-specific questions while the latter contains recorded briefings of PLCs that have taken part in past PSE STAR runs. Bloomberg analysts will also tackle their outlook on the economy and select sectors.
PSE STAR is co-hosted by Bloomberg LP, with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and the Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) as partners.
