Bangkok, 26 August 2026 – ASEAN Exchanges leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening regional capital markets and creating greater opportunities for businesses and investors at Invest ASEAN 2026, held in conjunction with Thailand Focus 2026, under the theme “Inclusive Opportunities: Connecting Capital to Growth Across the ASEAN Region.”
The panel brought together CEOs and senior leaders from all ASEAN exchanges to discuss strategies to enhance market competitiveness, deepen liquidity, improve market accessibility, and strengthen regional integration.
The discussion highlighted a shared focus among ASEAN exchanges on attracting listings, supporting corporate value creation, diversifying products, and improving access for both domestic and international investors.
The panel concluded that while ASEAN markets have different structures, levels of development, and investor bases, there is significant scope for exchanges to learn from one another, strengthen connectivity, and develop complementary solutions. By combining market reforms with regional cooperation, ASEAN exchanges can help deepen capital markets, expand investment opportunities, and better connect capital with businesses seeking sustainable growth.
Invest ASEAN 2026 also brought together seven listed companies from five countries (excluding Thailand), providing an additional platform for ASEAN businesses to engage with investors and explore opportunities to access regional capital.
