On Monday, October 2, 2023, IDX, IDClear, and KSEI collaborated with 1000 Digital Startups Community of Indonesia, Nusa Tenggara Timur Region, to organize a Go Public Seminar with the theme “Startups Go Public: Scale Up your Growth Through Initial Public Offering (IPO).” The seminar took place at Palacio 1 Ballroom, Aston Kupang Hotel & Convention Center, Kupang.
The seminar began with opening remarks from Jeffrey Hendrik, the Director of Development at IDX, and Peniel Sibero, the Regional Program and Partnership Manager of the 1.000 Digital Startups Community of Indonesia for the Nusa Tenggara Timur Region. The speakers for the seminar included Cita Mellisa, the Head of Incubator for Region 2 at IDX; Achdiarini Siwiwardhani, the Director of Investment Banking at PT Sucor Sekuritas; and Edwin, the CEO of PT Wira Global Solusi Tbk (WGSH). The seminar was moderated by Nengsih Limbong.
The “Startups Go Public: Scale Up your Growth Through Initial Public Offering (IPO)” seminar held on October 2, 2023, was attended by 48 participants representing 48 potential companies from the East Nusa Tenggara Province. The seminar speakers provided presentations on topics related to the highlights of the Indonesian capital market, the benefits of becoming a listed company, the process and requirements for becoming a listed company, the IDX Incubator program, and success stories of going public.
IDX supports and facilitates startups and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia to develop their businesses by providing training and bridging companies to utilize funding in the Indonesian capital market through IDX Incubator. IDX Incubator was established on March 23, 2017, and a total of 6 companies incubated by IDX Incubator have become listed companies on IDX. These companies are PT Yeloo Integra Datanet Tbk (YELO), PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH), PT Trimegah Karya Pratama Tbk (UVCR), PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk (RUNS), PT Tourindo Guide Indonesia Tbk (PGJO), and PT Wira Global Solusi Tbk (WGSH).
Currently, there are 81 companies incubated by IDX Incubator, with 37 companies under IDX Incubator Jakarta, 24 companies under IDX Incubator Surabaya, and 20 companies under IDX Incubator Bandung. In implementing the IDX Incubator program, IDX collaborates with various supporting professions in the capital market, including legal consultants, public accounting firms, and other supporting professions in the capital market. The hope is that through the IDX Incubator program, an increasing number of small and medium-sized asset companies can leverage the Indonesian capital market for their sustainability and future development.
