On Monday (15/6), the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), in collaboration with the Indonesia Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (IBCWE), launched the preliminary findings of the Census on Women in Executive Leadership Team (ELT) in IDX200 Companies (2022–2025) at the IDX Main Hall, Jakarta. Held under the theme “From Disclosure to Impact: Advancing Women’s Leadership in IDX200 Companies,” the event brought together more than 200 corporate leaders, regulators, and policymakers to highlight the importance of gender equality in corporate leadership as part of the broader ESG agenda.
The event opened with remarks from IDX President Commissioner Nurhaida, followed by IBCWE Advisory Board member Andrie Darusman, and a keynote address delivered by Jonathan Gilbert, Minister Counsellor and Head of Economic and Investment at the Australian Embassy.
A key message from the discussion was the need to strengthen the integration of gender indicators into ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks in Indonesia.
