Published on 02/04/2026

Jakarta – The Financial Services Authority (OJK), in collaboration with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), has completed four key initiatives to enhance capital market transparency in Indonesia as part of a proposal submitted to global index providers, including MSCI. This achievement forms part of the Eight Action Plans for Accelerating Capital Market Integrity Reform, which were launched on February 1, 2026. The initiatives include the provision of share ownership data above 1% to the public, the implementation of High Shareholding Concentration (HSC) disclosures, the enhancement of investor classification granularity within KSEI’s ownership data, and the increase of the minimum free float requirement to 15% through amendments to IDX Regulation No. I-A.

These achievements reflect the continued commitment of IDX and KSEI to support Indonesia’s capital market reform agenda, particularly in enhancing transparency, improving the quality of information, and strengthening investor confidence both domestically and globally. Going forward, the implementation of these transparency reforms is expected to promote greater market efficiency, strengthen investor protection, and enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s capital market.
