Since being regularly organized in 2016, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) finally has the opportunity to participate in the ASEAN Risk Awards in 2024 and is listed in the ASEAN Risk Champion category. This category is awarded to companies that have demonstrated their ability to implement proven enterprise risk management strategies that effectively address the complex challenges and opportunities that arise in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
Based on the results of an assessment of around 400 companies in Southeast Asia participating in this event, IDX made it into the shortlist of top 5 finalists for the ASEAN Risk Champion Category 2 category, along with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB), Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB), and PT Asuransi Jiwa Inhealth Indonesia (Mandiri Inhealth). The announcement of winners and awards was held on Friday (5/7) at St. Regis Bangkok and IDX were represented by the Head of the Risk Management and Compliance Division of IDX, Elsierra Putri Yosita.
The ASEAN Risk Awards is an annual risk management awards event for companies and professionals in Southeast Asia, emphasizing achievement, innovation, and leadership in risk management. The event is an opportunity for companies to benchmark with other companies for their achievements and contributions and inspire themselves and others to improve the implementation of risk management in the company and drive the advancement of risk management practices in Southeast Asia.
