Jakarta – In order to enhance the quality of capital market information services, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has improved its data distribution format, effective Monday, August 25, 2025. Previously, trading summary information was distributed only at the end of the trading day. Now, IDX also distributes this information at the end of the first trading session. This initiative is part of IDX’s commitment to continuously improve its services and provide easier access to information for all stakeholders to support better investment decision-making.
IDX has enhanced the service by adding the distribution of eight (8) data files, which were previously only released at the end of the trading day, and are now also distributed at the end of the first trading session. These files include summaries of transaction activities by investor domicile code, index data listed on IDX, and trading recaps by investor type. All files are distributed in the same format as the end-of-day distribution, minimizing technical adjustments required by Exchange Members and other data subscribers. Investors can contact their respective Exchange Members to access this information.
The availability of this information is expected to help market participants gain a more comprehensive overview of investor participation dynamics while supporting better-informed decision-making in trading on the IDX. IDX Business Development Director Jeffrey Hendrik, stated, “This data distribution enhancement aligns with IDX’s mission to continuously improve services for market participants. We believe this step will strengthen investor confidence and support the increase of market liquidity.”
With this development, IDX encourages all Exchange Members to utilize and further process this information for distribution to all Indonesia capital market investors. IDX also invites all stakeholders to take advantage of the available information for more comprehensive analysis in developing better and wiser investment strategies.
