Yogyakarta – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is taking part in the Abhinaya Karya 2025 Temporary Exhibition organized by the Sonobudoyo Museum in Yogyakarta. The event, held from June 3 to July 13, 2025, carries the theme “Pasar: A Glimpse into the Past, Looking Forward to the Future,” highlighting the evolution of markets from prehistoric times to the digital era. IDX’s participation in this exhibition reflects its commitment to enhancing financial and investment literacy—particularly among the younger generation—by presenting an exhibit that educates visitors on the development of Indonesia’s capital market.
The exhibition’s opening ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Gedung Semar, East Pavilion of the Sonobudoyo Museum. The festive event was enriched by the melodies of keroncong music and a captivating reog wayang performance, further infusing the atmosphere with cultural nuances. The event was attended by the Head of the Yogyakarta Cultural Office Irfan Noor Riza, invited guests, and various collaborating partners. On this occasion, IDX was represented by the Head of the Yogyakarta Representative Office, who expressed support for cross-sector collaboration in strengthening public education through cultural approaches.
At the exhibition, held at the Saraswati Building of the Sonobudoyo Museum, IDX showcases information about stocks and current investment trends, as part of the subtheme “Markets Today.” IDX’s presence also reinforces institutional synergy in promoting inclusive financial education through cultural and historical perspectives. This collaboration is expected not only to broaden public understanding of modern trade systems, but also to encourage wiser and more informed financial management amid the dynamics of the digital economy.
