On Tuesday (28/7), the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, held the Legalization Drive and Food Safety Training Ceremony for MSMEs in Sumedang Regency at Aula Tampomas, Sumedang. The event was attended by IDX Director of Business Development Iding Pardi, Deputy Regent of Sumedang M. Fajar Aldila, representatives of the Sumedang Regency Government, the Ministry of MSMEs, Gerai UMKM Pusat Pemerintahan Sumedang (GUMASEP), and local MSME entrepreneurs.
The program focused on food safety training and certification, business legalization, and mentoring for 100 selected MSMEs in Sumedang Regency. Through this initiative, participants were encouraged to enhance product quality, comply with food safety standards, and expand market access to strengthen their competitiveness.
The program reflects IDX’s commitment to strengthening the capacity of MSMEs to become more independent and competitive, enabling them to grow into larger businesses with the potential to be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the future.
