On Tuesday (19/5), Indonesia Stock Exchange received a visit from Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at the IDX Building in Jakarta, amid the ongoing dynamics in the domestic capital market. The visit reflected support for strengthening investor confidence and maintaining the stability of Indonesia’s capital market.
During the visit, Dasco expressed optimism regarding the outlook of Indonesia’s capital market despite the pressure currently faced by the IDX Composite Index (IHSG). According to him, optimism is essential to maintaining investor confidence, particularly among domestic investors, whose numbers have continued to grow in recent years.
Dasco was accompanied by Danantara Chief Executive Officer Rosan Roeslani and Danantara Chief Operating Officer as well as Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria. The delegation was welcomed by Chairwoman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Friderica Widyasari Dewi along with IDX management.
