Market participants convene for PSE STAR 2025 mid-year edition

The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) gathered stock market participants and stakeholders to the mid-year edition of the PSE STAR (Strengthening Access and Reach): Investor Day 2025 featuring 11 publicly listed companies (PLCs).

 

From August 19 to 20, top executives and officers of select listed firms tackled their first half 2025 financial results and growth strategies before an audience comprised of fund managers, stock market analysts and investors during the two-day online event.

 

PSE STAR: Investor Day was co-presented by Bloomberg L.P., with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) as event partner.

 

“We are pleased that PSE STAR has become the go-to platform for analysts and investors who want front row seats to valuable insights on financial performance and prospects of featured PLCs,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

 

“The Exchange will continue to promote corporate governance and good investor relations practice among our listed firms through PSE STAR and we hope more stakeholders benefit from this initiative,” Mr. Monzon added.

 

PLC Presidents and Chief Executives Officers (CEO) and Chief Finance Officers (CFO) that participated in the investor briefing include Cebu Air, Inc. President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao, Citicore Energy REIT Corp. CFO Michelle A. Magdato, East West Banking Corporation CEO Jerry G. Ngo, Italpinas Development Corp. Executive Chairman and CEO Romolo Valentino Nati, Shell Pilipinas Corporation CEO and President Lorelie Quiambao Osial, and SM Prime Holdings, Inc. CFO John Nai Peng C. Ong.

 

Some PLCs were also represented by their Investor Relations Officers and key officers namely Alliance Global Group, Inc. Head of Investor Relations Caroline L. Kabigting, MREIT, Inc. Investor Relations Head Andy Dela Cruz, Philippine Business Bank Head of Corporate Planning and Investor Relations Officer Joseph Jeeban R. Segui, PLDT Inc. Investor Relations Head Marseille N. Nograles, and Philippine Seven Corporation Operations Director Francis S. Medina.

 

Apart from the featured PLCs live presentations as well as question and answer segments moderated by FMAP members, 10 other listed firms that took part in previous PSE STAR editions provided recorded first half company briefings which were uploaded on the event website for on-demand viewing by attendees. These PLCs include Aboitiz Power Corporation, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., D&L Industries, Inc., DMCI Holdings, Inc., D.M. Wenceslao & Associates Incorporated, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Globe Telecom, Inc., Monde Nissin Corporation, Nickel Asia Corporation, and Semirara Power and Mining Corporation.

 

A discussion on the outlook for the regional economy and the ASEAN banking sector were also delivered by Bloomberg analysts.
