On Monday, May 22, 2023, amid the series of collaborative activities between Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and Mirae Asset Sekuritas during the Korea Corporate Day 2023 event, IDX had the opportunity to engage in discussions with Korea Environment Corporation (K-eco). K-eco is a government agency under the South Korean Ministry of Environment responsible for overseeing Carbon Trading. Also present was LX International, a private sector group with interests in carbon trading.
The meeting aimed to establish communication and mutual learning regarding carbon trading in Korea and Indonesia, with the intention of exploring potential collaborations in the future.
