Jakarta – The number of Indonesian capital market investors continues to grow significantly, surpassing 18 million Single Investor Identifications (SID), reaching a total of 18,012,665 SID as of the end of August 2025. Throughout 2025, an additional 3,141,026 new SIDs were recorded, driven by consistent educational programs carried out by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in collaboration with other Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) and stakeholders, with the support of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). The total of stock market investors accounted for 7,558,552 SID, including 1,177,108 new investors. This achievemeng is more than just numbers, it reflects the growing optimism and confidence of investors in Indonesia’s economy and its capital market.
