The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) hosted the first quarter run of PSE STAR: Investor Day on May 15 and 16, 2024. The virtual event showcased live briefings of 12 publicly listed companies (PLCs) while another 15 PLCs joined through pre-recorded briefings. This edition of PSE STAR also published the maiden PSE Spotlight report for each PLC participating in the live briefings. PSE Spotlight contains the PLCs profile, stock data, and insights on relevant and pressing matters specific to the company and its industry.
PSE STAR Q12024, which was co-hosted by Bloomberg, had over 700 registered attendees or almost 20 percent more than the Q12023 count. Close to 60 percent of the participants were retail investors, followed by listed company representatives, institutional investors, and equity analysts and trading participants at around 10 percent each while the remaining 10 percent was accounted for by investment bank representatives, media, and others.

PSE STAR has been a proven platform where PLCs are given the unique opportunity to present their quarterly earnings, discuss their plans and prospects, and address questions that investors, analysts and fund managers may have on their respective companies,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.
The live company briefings featured Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI), Alternergy Holdings Corporation (ALTER), Ayala Corporation (AC), Bank of Commerce (BNCOM), Citicore Energy REIT Corp. (CREIT), Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions (CNVRG), Haus Talk, Inc. (HTI), Manila Water Company (MWC), Shakeys Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc. (PIZZA), Shell Pilipinas Corporation (SHLPH), SM Prime Holdings (SMPH), and The Keepers Holdings, Inc. (KEEPR). Company officials also addressed questions from the audience in the Q&A segments moderated by members of the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP).
PLCs with recorded briefings include Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc., Aboitiz Power Corporation, Balai Ni Fruitas Inc., Cebu Air, Inc., Cebu Landmasters, Inc., China Banking Corporation, Concepcion Industrial Corporation, D.M. Wenceslao & Associates, Incorporated, DMCI Holdings, Inc., Megaworld Corporation, MREIT, Inc., Philippine Seven Corporation, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., Semirara Mining and Power Corporation, and The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc.
