CGS-CIMB Sekuritas Indonesia once again presented the ‘Regional Sharia Investing Symposium’ with the theme “Toward Common Horizons: Harmonizing Sharia Finance in ASEAN”.
The event held on Wednesday (24/1) brought together expert speakers from 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, which were divided into 3 different discussion panels, namely: ‘Harmonizing Sharia Regulations for Financial Products in ASEAN’, ‘Sharia Capital Market Development in ASEAN’ and ‘Indonesia Market Outlook 2024’.
This event is expected to increase public literacy and inclusion and strengthen the branding of the Islamic capital market in 3 countries, namely Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, effectively introduce the Indonesian Islamic capital market among foreign investors and apply the principle of sustainability by running educational activities together with GP Ansor East Java in 38 cities to facilitate the youth to achieve financial freedom through Islamic investment.
