On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) successfully set a record for the Composite JCI and the highest market capitalization in history. JCI broke the record, reaching a position of 7,323.588, surpassing the previous record of 7,318.016 on September 13, 2022. Additionally, IDX’s market capitalization also reached a record high, reaching Rp11,768 trillion compared to the previous record of Rp11,762 trillion on December 28, 2023. This reflects the optimism of market participants and stakeholders in the Indonesian capital market as they begin the year 2024.
