Jakarta – In an effort to support investor needs for transparent, reliable information aligned with Sharia principles, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has introduced a Sharia mode on the IDX Mobile application. Sharia mode is a digital innovation designed to make it easier for the public to access sharia capital market information within single application, namely IDX Mobile. This mode on IDX Mobile was officially launched on Monday (9/3) at the IDX Main Hall.
Sharia mode on IDX Mobile offers a number of key features, namely the Sharia Equity Market, Sukuk Market, Sharia Virtual Trading, Sharia Education Portal, and Fatwa & Regulation. These features are designed to accompany investors through their journey, from the education stage to making sharia investment decisions. Users can access information on sharia stocks and sukuk, practice virtual trading virtually, study relevant regulations and fatwas, and obtain various educational references all in one application.
The launch event for IDX Mobile’s Sharia mode was opened by Interim President Director of IDX Jeffrey Hendrik, followed by a talk show titled “Empowering Sharia Investment Journey with IDX Mobile Sharia.” The session featured financial educator Khairani Pane and member of the National Sharia Council – Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) Ustaz Azharuddin Lathif. The talk show highlighted the importance of credible and Sharia-compliant information to support the public’s investment journey in the capital market
With IDX Mobile users exceeding 510,000, IDX hopes this sharia mode will provide added value to the public, strengthen literacy and trust in sharia investments, and encourage investor participation in the Indonesia capital market. This initiative aligns with IDX’s efforts to continue strengthening the credibility of the Indonesia capital market and enhance its competitiveness in a sustainable manner.
