The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) encourages the public to register in the PSE Investment Expo 2023, a financial literacy initiative to promote awareness on investing in legitimate financial instruments. The event will kick-off on Thursday, March 9 at 5:30 in the afternoon with an opening ceremony and a discussion on the 2023 Economic and Market Outlook.
“Financial literacy activities are very much needed at this time when potential and new investors fall prey to get-rich-quick schemes and are easily swayed by herd mentality in investing. We hope that the lineup of activities during the Investment Expo will equip the attendees with proper investing know-how and strategies,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.
Aside from Mr. Monzon, panelists for the 2023 Economic and Market Outlook include AIA Philippines Chief Investment Officer Mr. Lee C. Longa, COL Financial Group, Inc. Chief Customer Experience Officer Mr. Juanis G. Barredo, and Philippine Equity Partners, Inc. Managing Director Mr. Jojo D. Gonzales.
March 10, Friday, will feature webinar sessions from Expo event partners. The featured topics and speakers in the morning are How to Achieve Your Financial Goal through Life hosted by COL Financial Group, Inc.’s Wealth Trainer & Fund Expert Zane Pulumbarit and their Investment Advocate Jasmine Marzo; and Stock Market 101: The Beginner’s Guide in Entering the Stock Market to be facilitated by GCash Customer Success Head Mark Jasson C. A personal finance game, PSE CSS Battle of the Bulls Quiz Bee and closing ceremony are the activities lined up on Saturday, March 11.
The top three teams from the Campus Expo 2022 Stock Research Competition will be up for a pre-event market portfolio competition. Judges of the event include RCBC Trust and Investments Group Head and PSE Certified Securities Specialist Course Portfolio Management Lecturer Dr. Robert Ramos; First Metro Securities Brokerage Corporation Consultant for Market Education and PSE Certified Securities Specialist Course Fundamental and Technical Analysis Lecturer Aaron Say; and PSE Market Data Department Head Regina R. Crisostomo.
The Expo organizers and partners will be giving away gadgets and other valuable items as raffle prizes. The top 500 most active attendees based on the Leader Board are eligible for the raffle. Meantime, the top three Expo participants in the Leader Board and the top three most liked pictures in the photo booth contests will also win prizes.
