Jakarta – The Capital Market Summit & Expo (CMSE) 2025, carrying the theme “Capital Market for the People, One Market, Millions of Opportunities”, officially concluded its entire series of events on Saturday (18/10). During the two-day event, held on October 17–18, 2025, at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), public enthusiasm was remarkably high, recording a new attendance record of 11,682 onsite visitors, an increase of 51.4% compared to 7,716 onsite visitors at CMSE 2024, which had previously lasted one day longer, over three days.

IDX Business Development Director Jeffrey Hendrik, in his closing report for CMSE 2025, stated that visitor queues even stretched from the IDX Building lobby to the Istora Mandiri MRT entrance, which is about 500 meters away. “This clearly proves the tremendous public interest in getting to know the world of the capital market more closely,” said Jeffrey, Saturday (18/10).

During the two-day event, there were a total of 48,308 CMSE 2025 visitors, both onsite and virtual. This number increased by 12.3% compared to 43,008 total visitors at CMSE 2024, which was held over three days. A total of 36,626 viewers watched CMSE 2025 through the Indonesia Stock Exchange YouTube channel and via watch parties (nonton bareng / nobar) held at various IDX Representative Offices across Indonesia — an increase of 3.8% compared to 35,292 online viewers during CMSE 2024, which ran for three days.

When compared on a daily basis, the average total number of registrants per day at CMSE 2025 reached 12,590 people, an increase of 208.6% compared to 4,079 registrants per day at CMSE 2024. The average total number of visitors per day this year was 24,154 people, up 68.5% from 14,336 visitors per day last year. For onsite visitors, the average was 5,841 participants per day, increasing 127.1% compared to 2,572 participants per day at CMSE 2024. Meanwhile, virtual visitors averaged 18,313 viewers per day, up 55.7% from 11,764 viewers per day during CMSE 2024. Throughout the two-day event, CMSE 2025 featured 13 speakers and 6 moderators, as well as 88 booths and 95 tenants.

According to Jeffrey, these figures demonstrate the growing enthusiasm of visitors, both offline and online, for the CMSE event, which continues to increase each year. “This year’s CMSE is not merely a series of seminars and exhibitions, but also a tangible proof of our shared commitment to strengthen financial literacy, inclusion, and public participation in supporting sustainable capital market growth,” Jeffrey added.

Jeffrey added that the themes presented in each session of CMSE 2025 reflected the diversity and immense potential of Indonesia capital market. The event began on the first day with a main seminar discussing “The Role of Business and the Capital Market in National Economic Growth.” It continued with a podcast featuring two inspiring public figures, Nycta Gina and El Rumi, and concluded with an interfaith talk show presenting spiritual perspectives from three religious leaders: Husein Ja’far Al Hadar, Pastor Marcel, and Bhante Dhirapunno.

On the second day, visitors had the opportunity to hear real-life stories through a talk show with three retail investors, witness the signing of a cooperation agreement between PT Majoris Asset Management and Istiqlal Global Fund for the management of a wakaf share product, and attend a talk show on sharia philanthropy products in the capital market. The event closed with an inspirational talk show encouraging the audience to maintain both physical and financial health, featuring Ade Rai. “All of these sessions teach one important message: that anyone can become part of the capital market, regardless of their background or profession,” said Jeffrey. Recordings of all CMSE 2025 seminar sessions are still available to the public through the Indonesia Stock Exchange YouTube channel.

As part of the national campaign “Aku Investor Saham” (I Am a Stock Investor), CMSE 2025 also recorded positive achievements from the series of Road to CMSE 2025 activities held from March to October 2025 across various regions of Indonesia. The activities were attended by 185,630 participants through 101 events involving 134 partners from universities, institutions, communities, and exchange members, successfully generating 184,787 new investors in the capital market.

In addition, the Guruku Investor Saham program  also part of the Aku Investor Saham campaign was attended by 6,545 teachers and educators throughout Indonesia through 103 activities, successfully creating 2,887 new stock investors. Through this program, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) continues to promote understanding and awareness of the importance of early investment education, while also encouraging teachers to become financial literacy ambassadors in their respective communities.

With the synergistic support of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), Exchange Members, Listed Companies, Investment Managers, and various other partners, Jeffrey expressed his hope that the CMSE 2025 event would serve as a shared momentum to continue building a stronger, more inclusive, ethical, and sustainable capital market. “Because with a capital market for the people, we can create one market with millions of opportunities—opportunities to grow, compete, and progress together,” Jeffrey added.
